A message from our Artistic Director, Alex Mitchell.

It saddens me to announce that due to the current circumstances, Silent Uproar will be postponing its current Spring season. This will affect our New York transfer of A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) by Jon Brittain, and the UK tour of our new musical Thank You For Doing Nothing by Josh Overton.

We will be focusing the rest of 2020 on finding new ways to support the brilliant artists that Silent Uproar work with to create our fun and provocative work. It’s these artists that will be hit the hardest during this time of great uncertainty. We’re hoping to have more information about the future of our shows over the next month or so.

We want to thank our audiences, partners and funders for their brilliant support now and always.

Big Love & Solidarity,

Artistic Director

Silent Uproar

support silent uproar

Now more than ever we need your support so we can keep making award winning work and supporting local writers, actors and creatives.

Silent Uproar is a not-for-profit charity and all our work is funded project-by-project. Every penny makes a difference in allowing us to collaborate and work with some of the best writers and artists across the UK.

We know times are tight for everyone at the moment, but anything you can spare to support us will go a long way in keeping us moving forward.  It really does make a difference.

Your support in this difficult time is invaluable to us and will continue to keep us running so that when we're able to get back into the rehearsal room we're able to keep making fun nights out to make the world less sh*t!

Thank you
