Silent Uproar are becoming a registered charity (CIO), and we're on the hunt for people to join our board.
We're looking for board members who will champion Silent Uproar’s dream to create theatre that is inspired by movies, pop culture, and big political ideas that will make the world a little bit less sh*t.
We're developing a theatre audience for the Netflix generation. An audience that will be as excited for a night in their local theatre as they would be at the cinema or at a stand-up comedy gig.
Silent Uproar are looking appoint a board of trustees that:
Are active champions of Silent Uproar
Are active and supportive in fundraising, to ensure company and performances are adequately resourced
Supports and constructively scrutinises the management, to create and ensure the best use of resources
Assists the company to broker and manage relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrates experience covering the significant areas of the company’s operation
Come from a diverse range of backgrounds to ensure Silent Uproar's work remains relevant and exciting
The deadline for applications is 5pm on 5th December 2018.
Interviews will be arranged with chosen candidates after this time.
