We'll be running workshops at York Theatre Royal as part of their TakeOver Festival on 30th October.
"Award winning new writing company Silent Uproar explore approaches to new texts in a half day practical workshop. Artistic director Alex Mitchell leads a practical taster session of Silent Uproar’s approach to new work, the workshop will take you through the improvisation, analysis and exploration techniques that Uproar use to engage actors, writers, designers and stage managers in their creative process.
The three hour session will focus on the physical exploration of text and is aimed primarily at actors and directors though all are welcome who are willing to participate fully in the process. Open minds and practical clothing are required for all participants."
